Principal Michelle Massar-Fry

Michelle Massar brings more than 15 years of experience in education and school leadership, with expertise in elementary and secondary education, special education, multi-tiered systems of support, and fostering positive, inclusive school cultures.

Throughout her career, Michelle has served in a variety of leadership roles supporting student achievement, attendance, behavior systems, curriculum implementation, teacher development, and student support services. She has extensive experience leading school improvement efforts, strengthening systems of support for students, and partnering with staff and families to create welcoming, high-performing learning environments.

Michelle is deeply committed to educational excellence and continuous learning. She holds a Ph.D. in Special Education from the University of Oregon, an Oregon Initial Administrative License, a Master of Education in Special Education from Arizona State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Portland State University.
